New Meals on Wheels Marketing Feature Coming Soon #2

Mow-Services will soon be rolling out our new Marketing Feature designed for Meals on Wheels Providers to help give these non-profits the ability to fully take advantage of moments and fully leverage opportunities like this one.

FACT: In today’s Meals on Wheels environment, negative news articles like the one below happen. Low hanging fruit like client waiting lists, lack of funding, rising costs, lack of volunteers, and more… are all a part of today’s reality for many Meals on Wheels programs nationwide.  When this happens, there is often a call to action or awareness campaign that ends the mostly negative news article. Suggestion #2: Look to follow that article up in a couple of weeks with a more positive web/social media/news story. Continue focusing on something from the original article like maybe the $9 per meal cost that was mentioned but this time tie it to something like an invite to the community to support their local Meals on Wheel by forgoing their normal coffee run before work one day and instead invite them to get their morning coffee/bagel at your local congregate center for a donation of $9.99. There are probably hundreds of ideas but the main goal is to make it simple for people to get involved with making a difference and continue the awareness but this time with a more positive and constructive light.
