Geocoding, for most MOWAA providers, describes the process of entering an address of a client into a membership database with geocoding software (Ex: ServTracker) which then returns, based on the address entered, additional data of a latitude and a longitude. With a latitude and a longitude found, your membership system will then be able to plot a “dot on the map” of this unique client location. If the correct address is entered, the membership system “should” successfully find the exact location of the client in question on a map so that accurate meal deliveries can occur. Next up, an explanation of why the word “should” was used above will be forthcoming in an upcoming BLOG post….Stay Tuned!
